"Our two sons have been participating in MacPhail's online lessons for the past year and a half since our move from the Twin Cities to a small town in southern California. The convenience of sitting in our own music room for every lesson is tremendous, but most importantly, our kids have been able to continue to access a world-class teacher from 3,000 miles away."
– Tasha M., Ojai, California
– MacPhail teacher: Brent Weaver, Guitar
"While online lessons are available elsewhere, I think one incredibly huge factor makes MacPhail heads and tails superior to anything else I've seen: the teachers. While you may be able to find online lessons, you'd be hard put to find the quality level of the teachers I see are a part of MacPhail's faculty."
- Gwen T., Waxahachie, Texas
- MacPhail teacher: Karl Wiederwohl, Trombone
"One of the hardest things with moving away from Minnesota last summer was leaving my girls' piano teacher. We were thrilled when she suggested online lessons, although I wondered how effective this would really be. We had a trial lesson, and it felt almost like being in person. The sound quality is excellent, and I think my girls are even more focused during lessons than they were before. And, we don't have travel-time to lessons anymore…. We are so grateful that we could continue with MacPhail after our move!"
- Elizabeth F., Woodbridge, Virginia
- MacPhail teacher: Jennifer Osterman, Piano
