This concert features the finest MacPhail student soloists performing with an orchestra of professional musicians under the baton of a guest conductor. Six student soloists are selected through competitive auditions.  This year’s guest conductor is Manny Laureano, Artistic Director of Minnesota Youth Symphonies (MYS) and principal trumpet of the Minnesota Orchestra.
