Arts on the River Camp



$225 for members of participating organizations; $250 for non-members

Play music, get creative, bake bread and construct books while exploring the rich culture along the Minneapolis riverfront district. Children will explore a new experience each day at four arts centers: Mill City Museum, the Guthrie Theater, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and MacPhail Center for Music.
Campers will start each day at Mill City Museum and will walk with camp leaders, less than three blocks, to each art organization. This camp is for ages 9-11.

About Summer Camps at MacPhail

MacPhail summer camps allow you to collaborate with other students of a similar age and skill level in a fun and focused environment. Camps are available for a variety of playing levels from absolute beginner to advanced for ages 3 – adults. MacPhail summer camps inspire and motivate students to explore a new instrument or enhance their playing or singing skills while studying the music that they love. Camps are available in a variety of genres from classical and rock to jazz to hip hop.
