Mariana Lindblom has been teaching piano, voice, and in MacPhail’s Sing, Play, Learn program since 2016. Her teaching experience includes voice, piano and early childhood music since 2007 as well as Spanish since 2002. She is trained in storytelling, American Sign Language, and music.

Mariana’s teaching philosophy is to teach with passion, fun, and joy. She tailors lessons to each individual student’s abilities and learning styles.

Her notable performances include The Magic Flute, The Elixir of Love and La Traviata with Operafestival di Roma. She has performed solo recitals with the Barcelona Festival of Song, performed soprano with The Washington Chorus and The City Choir of Washington, as well as with the National Symphony Orchestra under Marvin Hamlisch and Randall Craig Fleischer.

Mariana graduated Cum Laude from Shenandoah University with a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance in 2006. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Catholic University of America with a Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy in 2009.
