Teresa Campbell has taught Suzuki violin at MacPhail since 2008. Most of her work at MacPhail is with inner-city and at-risk youth students in our El-Sistema inspired programs. She believes strongly that we can use music to create social change, and that giving kids a strong foundation in music changes their lives and the lives of the people around them.
Teresa played professionally with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Rockford Symphony, the New Jersey Symphony, and the Gateway Orchestra in Connecticut. Currently she plays with the Stone Arch Collective, a quartet that gives outreach concerts to schoolchildren through the MPR Class Notes program.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Violin Performance, a Master’s of Music in String Development, and a Suzuki Certification.
