About This Location

MacPhail Minneapolis is located in the historic heart of Minneapolis: Mill City. Set on the Mississippi River in Downtown East, this iconic neighborhood was once the site of a booming flour milling industry that made the Minneapolis Riverfront an economic powerhouse. Today, it is the center of a vibrant cultural arts community right on the scenic banks of the beautiful Mississippi.

This state-of-the-art, six-story building opened in January of 2008 and includes 55 unique studios and many diverse practice rooms, music labs and performance spaces including: six classrooms designed for Sing Play Learn with MacPhail®; labs for piano, harp, percussion and rock/jazz percussion; and a suite devoted to MacPhail’s Music Therapy program.

Antonello Hall

Located on the second floor of MacPhail’s headquarters is the stunning Antonello Hall. One of the finest music venues in all of the Twin Cities, Antonello Hall hosts MacPhail’s premier performance series, MacPhail Spotlight Series, as well as countless faculty and student recitals and events. One of the many great benefits of lessons at MacPhail is that students have the opportunity to play in a renowned space designed specifically for them with two legendary Steinway concert grand pianos.
