Brass Camp – ONLINE

Brass Camp gives students the chance to perform with superb musicians from MacPhail’s brass faculty during a fun week of stimulating challenges intended to build understanding, develop technique and foster an aspiration to mature musicianship. The camp is designed for students who want to stay musically active this summer and be ready to hit the ground running as a leader in next year’s school band. Students will develop shared ensemble technique and individual playing technique while rehearsing a piece for brass ensemble, composed by their instructor written specifically for their playing level. This camp is open to students of all playing levels with a minimum of one year of school band or private lesson experience. Students will record their final performance, and families will be provided with a YouTube link to share.

New this year: Brass Camp will be offered as either an in-person or online option. You can select which option works best for you!
