Composition Camp: August 8-12

Meet other young composers who share your passion for creating music! Gain the tools you need to grow as a composer. Receive coaching from MacPhail composition faculty on your recent and current works. Learn how various types of software can help you compose and try out a digital audio workstation to compose electronic music or combine electronic and acoustic sounds. Explore the basics of film scoring and experiment with creating music to accompany movie scenes. Hear your compositions performed by professional musicians.

You will be asked to submit a score or an audio file for review prior to the camp. Scores and audio links can be emailed to Sarah Miller at miller.sarah@macphail.org
