Giving Voice Chorus® – St. Paul
We invite you to join Giving Voice chorus six-week Summer Semester as we celebrate the music of the 1970s with the theme, “Love Will Keep Us Together.”
New points of view were heard on the radio 50 years ago serenading the blossoming feminist movement, the emerging world of gay rights, and fresh global perspective with the breakthrough of reggae, as in Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now.” New stars went on to become cultural touchstones. Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, The Carpenters, and Neil Diamond are just a sampling of the artists whose music we’ll sing. Join us!
ABOUT GIVING VOICE CHORUS
This unique and joy-filled choral experience is for people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. Sing old and new songs, learn vocal technique and ensemble skills, and share musical memories together.
No vocal experience is required, just a love of singing!
PLEASE NOTE: Each enrollment requires a partner — both singers will need to complete individual registrations.
