After the beginnings of Rock music with Rhythm and Blues, popular music in America continued to evolve into Folk Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Funk, Soul and Disco, all of which laid the groundwork for Hip Hop and the Indie Music scene we have today. Come learn how the societal shifts in our country’s history were both shaping and shaped by popular music.
