Theme: 20th Century Music
An exciting opportunity for the strings and percussion students to come together to sharpen their skills and explore new areas of learning. The camp will include sectionals, orchestra participation, small ensemble experience and daily lectures on the camp theme. Lunch provided daily. Outdoor activities daily. Percussion will include technique building, traditional ensemble arrangements, drum line and novelty ensembles.
Ages: 4-17 with one or more years of playing
What to Bring: Instrument, wire stand, comfortable shoes and sunscreen.

MacPhail summer camps allow you to collaborate with other students of a similar age and skill level in a fun and focused environment. Camps are available for a variety of playing levels from absolute beginner to advanced for ages 3 – adults. MacPhail summer camps inspire and motivate students to explore a new instrument or enhance their playing or singing skills while studying the music that they love. Camps are available in a variety of genres from classical and rock to jazz to hip hop.
