Explore the violin using a repertoire of multicultural songs, movement, games, and singing. Students learn basic violin technique while acquiring musicianship skills including imitation, note reading, pitch development and playing with a pleasing tone. Parents are required to observe lessons and take an active role in practice. Children must have an appropriately sized instrument. Violin for Children has a two semester curriculum; it's suggested that students enroll in both.
