The 1960s brought new purpose to popular music, shifting it from mere entertainment to music with both artistry and an agenda. Join us as we study the great songwriters of this era, including Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Leonard Cohen, Carole King, Pete Seeger, and many others who brought both poetry and their conscience to their songs.
