Join us for the 2020 Sartory String Quartet Institute! Students at this 9-day Institute are placed in string quartets or small chamber ensembles with other students of similar age and proficiency. All ensembles receive daily coachings in preparation for a recital performance at the end of the Institute. In addition to their ensembles, students play in a small chamber orchestra and experience what it's like to perform in a larger group without a conductor.
In order to attend the camp, all students must submit a video audition and be accepted into the camp. The video submission deadline is March 15. We will review all audition videos and contact students to let them know their status. Students may register for the camp after receiving their acceptance letter. Please record all three audition requirements (scale, piece and excerpts) in three separate files. Please upload your video as an unlisted video to YouTube and send links of your video to Melissa Falb, firstname.lastname@example.org along with your completed student information form (link to form is below). All videos and forms must be received by March 15.
