Pianist Juyeon Kang, a Steinway artist and educator, has brought the perfect blend of exquisite sound and formidable technique to her audiences around the world. Her 2013-2014 concert season highlighted with a debut recital at Carnegie Hall and a concert tour in Korea, Austria, and Costa Rica. She has been awarded top prizes in New York, South Carolina, Connecticut, Texas, and Italy, and appeared as a soloist in numerous symphonies around the United States and Korea.
She is currently Professor of Music at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. She earned a doctoral and master’s degrees in piano performance and literature as well as a Masters Degree in pedagogy of music theory at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Dr. Kang received her Bachelor of Music from Seoul National University and the prestigious Artist Diploma in piano performance for the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where she was on the faculty in the college division.
