Annie Richardson has been teaching Suzuki flute at MacPhail since 2014. Her aim is to teach in a nurturing and supportive manner in hopes students will gain a life long love and appreciation of music. She hopes that students eventually develop into happy, well-rounded and thoughtful adults. Annie teaches students age 3 and up that would like to learn to play the flute.
Her performance credentials include MacPhail Center for Music, the St Paul Conservatory, the St Joseph School of Music, East Metro Music Academy, Levine School in Washington, D.C., Washington International School, also in Washington, D.C. Annie has performed in master classes with Toshio Takahashi, George Pope, Bart Feller, Susan Hoeppner, and Samuel Baron.
She holds a Bachelors of Music from East Tennessee State University
with additional undergraduate coursework completed at IU-Bloomington. She also completed
Suzuki flute teacher training levels: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 10 and Level 1 Music Mind Games training.
