But most importantly, he wants to make music fun. He teaches adaptive lessons on guitar, piano, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, and voice.
Colin has 10 years’ experience as a song-writer and guitarist in various Twin Cities bands. With an interest in all things music, he has performed everything from ambient music in yoga studios to electric guitar in a Hip Hop band at First Avenue. He studied classical guitar at Augsburg College and currently plays in a Minneapolis-based group. He is also experienced and trained in teaching phonics and reading skills to school-aged children.
Colin holds a degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg College. He completed a clinical internship at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in the Children’s Behavioral Unit.
