Nancy Gilmer Daley believes that every child can learn to play the piano beautifully, if the teacher and parents create a nurturing environment. With more than 27 years of experience, she has been a piano instructor at MacPhail since 1987. In addition to teaching, Nancy has helped with the organization of the Suzuki piano program, directly impacting the lessons that the children receive.
Prior to coming to MacPhail, she was an instructor and accompanist for the Suzuki program at Musical Offerings in Minnetonka. She is a member of the Daley/Harper Piano duo and has been performing an annual concert at MacPhail since 2003.
Nancy received a Bachelor of Science from Bemidji State University and has extensive Suzuki pedagogy training from Nancy Pederson, the founder of the MacPhail Suzuki piano program.
