With over 34 years of experience, Nancy Gilmer Daley has been a Suzuki piano instructor at MacPhail since 1987. Prior to coming to MacPhail, she was an instructor and accompanist for the Suzuki program at Musical Offerings in Minnetonka.
Nancy’s students have won a variety of competitions at MacPhail including Junior Honors, Honors and Crescendo Honor recitals. They have also been selected to perform at the Suzuki Association of MN Honor Graduation recitals and various Suzuki Summer Institute Honor recitals. She is a member of Suzuki Association of Minnesota, Suzuki Piano Teacher’s Guild and Suzuki Association of the America’s.
Nancy received a Bachelor of Science with Piano Emphasis from Bemidji State University and has had extensive Suzuki pedagogy training from Fay Adams, Doris Koppelman, Mary Craig Powell and Nancy Pederson (Founder of the MacPhail Suzuki Program), among others.
She performs regularly in the Daley/Harper Piano Duo and at MacPhail’s Suzuki Department Faculty Recitals.
