Sing Play Learn with MacPhail®

SarahLynn Zavoral joined the MacPhail faculty in 2015 as an early childhood music instructor. Working across multiple program areas, SarahLynn teaches in Sing Play Learn with MacPhail®, Summer Camps and School Partnerships at MacPhail.

With a wealth of teaching experience, SarahLynn has traveled across the nation, and even the world, sharing her knowledge and passion. She has taught early childhood music education in Austin, MN, Pre-K through 8th grade music in California, she was a Children’s Choir Director in California, a 5th grade general classroom teacher in Utah, an early childhood music teacher at BYU, and even spent time as an ESL Music Teacher in Thailand!

SarahLynn loves children and loves music. Her top priority is to help children experience joy through making music. She believe that every child is musical and every child can develop musical skills to express themselves and better the world around them.

SarahLynn has a BA in Elementary Music Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood, from Brigham Young University. She is the mother of two beautiful boys, performed as Jack’s mother in “Into the Woods”, directed over 50 various children’s musical performances in a 5 year period and Co-Authored a musical curriculum for English Language Instruction called “Sing Me English.”
