Cruikshank, Zeb


Zeb Cruikshank, guitar instructor, has been teaching and performing music professionally since 1994. He graduated from McNally Smith College of Music in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance, and was also among the first students to participate in their advanced Artist Diploma program.

As an instructor, he has taught at multiple music academies and stores over the years, working with hundreds of students of all ages, experience levels, and styles. He considers rock and blues to be his areas of expertise, but is also an experienced instructor and performer of jazz, acoustic fingerstyle, and classical music.

Zeb has recorded and released 5 albums, and opened for national acts such as Maceo Parker, Living Colour, Semisonic, Firehouse, and Chris Duarte. Currently, he can be found performing around the Twin Cities with his original jazz fusion project The Zeb Cruikshank Band, his acoustic duo Jess & Zeb, and classic rock band The Brute Squad.
