Chris Asp

Voice

Chris is a singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist trained at MacPhail Center for Music, Schmitt Music Centers, Perpich Arts High School, and MusicTech College. Chris is passionate about using music as a tool for communication and empowerment within the recovery, neurodivergent, IPV survivor, and memory care communities. Chris got started in coaching by working with high school students on performance and audition techniques that landed them roles in musicals, All-State Choir, and as finalists on reality show singing competitions. Chris served as a Choir Director Intern and Teaching Assistant for City Songs, a select after-school choir for 4th-8th Graders that toured and performed at local events across the metro. Chris has been writing songs since 4th grade and is a member of the Frontrange Songwriters working alongside and learning from Nashville writers and recording artists. Performance credits include Walt Disney World Resort, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, The Heights Theater, MN State Fair, MN Thunder, Spotlight Awards Showcase, KDWB’s Last Chance Summer Dance, and The International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland.
