Music Theory Level 5 – ONLINE

Students in all levels are invited to enroll in my online Music Theory classes. Follow the Minnesota Music Teachers Association Theory Syllabus and Curriculum to learn written, aural, and minimal practical keyboard skills.

For piano students with MMTA teachers, taking Online Music Theory during the summer will put them ahead of the curve by reinforcing concepts and addressing new ideas to prepare for completing the virtual MMTA Theory Exam on August 24. All students will increase their theory knowledge and confidence!

Students ages 7 and older are recommended to have one year of lessons completed, with skills in basic note reading and rhythmic understanding with 8th notes. Class placement is based on level, not age. Please contact Dr. Sara Langmead ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
