Ignite a Love for Music This Summer!

Ready to dive into the world of music? At MacPhail’s Summer Sampler Camp, students embark on an exciting week-long adventure filled with creativity, exploration, and fun! Intended for beginners, this hands-on camp introduces students to the fundamentals of music through interactive learning and engaging group activities.

Campers will try out a variety of instruments — including piano, violin, ukulele, voice, and percussion — and discover what inspires them most. Our newest activity, music and movement, invites students to connect sound with motion in a lively, expressive way that’s both fun and freeing.

Each camper selects two focus areas: one for the morning, one for the afternoon. Whether it’s strumming their first chord on the ukulele, singing their first note, or learning a brand-new rhythm, students will build skills, confidence, and learn a song or three!

(Please note: Instrument and activity availability may vary based on faculty scheduling. Families will be notified prior to camp with the final lineup.)

Every day is packed with musical discoveries, group collaboration, and creative exploration — all within a supportive, encouraging environment. At the end of the week, campers will take the stage in a celebratory performance to showcase their progress and share their joy with family, friends, and throngs of adoring fans!
