Giving Voice Chorus: Songs We Love to Sing, Minneapolis
Our Minneapolis chorus will be performing on Saturday, May 20th at 11am at MacPhail Center for Music in Antonello Hall. “Songs we Love to Sing,” is a retrospective of our favorite songs chosen by our chorus members from songs we have sung at past concerts.
We’ll sing in a variety of popular musical styles covering folk, ballads, Brazilian bossa nova, 2-beat, and waltzes. We invite you to come and hear our personal favorites!
Along with the amazing pianist and accompanist Lou Ann Henderson, we’ll have a quartet of MacPhail Center for Music artists! Paul Babcock on drum set (President and Chief Operating Officer of MacPhail Center for Music), James Allen, guitarist, and Tom Pieper, bassist. We’ll also feature Kristyn Rupp on violin, Manager of MacPhail Music for Life.
