
Anna Ward
Anna Ward teaches voice at the Minneapolis location and loves to work with singers of all levels. She believes in meeting students where they are, helping them master dynamic methods that will bring them toward their vocal goals. Her specialties include Classical technique, musical theatre, contemporary commercial voice, and transforming beginning singers. Anna has thirteen years of experience teaching voice in higher ed and is currently an adjunct faculty member at College of Saint Benedict & Saint John’s University. She lives in White Bear Lake with her husband, two sons, and pup.
Anna received a Master of Music from The Boston Conservatory in 2010, studying opera and classical voice performance. She attended the Boston Conservatory at Berklee Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop in 2016 and in 2023, she completed levels I-III of the Contemporary and Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia.
Musical America described Ward’s performance as “brimming with effortless lyricism.” She has been featured as a soprano with ArtsEmerson at the Paramount in Boston, the New York-based Mark Morris Dance Company, Lorelei Ensemble, Yale Choral Artists, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Raylynmor Opera of New Hampshire, Juventas New Music Ensemble, and the Boston Chamber Symphony. Ward performed in the 2018 Ireland tour of Gare St. Lazare’s Here All Night and was the soprano soloist for the 2022 premiere of Richard J. Clark’s Te Deum in Paris.
