MacPhail offers individual lessons, group classes, and ensembles in 35+ instruments, voice, composition, electronic music, and recording arts—all led by our exceptional faculty. Our unique learning experiences spark creativity, promote well-being, and foster self-discovery and artistic growth. 

MacPhail welcomes students of all ages, abilities, and experience levels with programs offered in five locations and online.

Individual Lessons

MacPhail’s outstanding faculty is experienced in teaching beginning through advanced music lessons for children, youth, and adult learners. Our teachers understand challenging work schedules, family and social demands, and varying personal aspirations and goals. We offer various ways to help you achieve your goals today and tomorrow. Whether you or a family member are just starting out, developing existing skills, or trying to achieve your highest level of proficiency, we have the right teacher for you.

Group Classes

There is something to be said for being part of a group. You meet wonderful new people and take part in fun and rewarding activities. You dare to try new things in a supportive environment and bring your musicianship to the next level. Whether you want to learn a new instrument, advance your skills, or simply learn about and play music with friends, MacPhail has a group class for you!

Ensembles & Choirs

Music performance is inherently social and creative. Performers are called to interpret notated music, improvise, adapt to unexpected conditions, and accommodate the occasional error. MacPhail encourages students of all ages to take advantage of fabulous opportunities to practice and perform in groups ranging from duos to orchestras for students of all levels and abilities.
