Cello instructor Joe Kaiser has been at MacPhail since 2002. Teaching Suzuki, individual instruction and in the Community Partnership program, Joe uses a highly engaging, fun, student-centered approach to his teaching. He enjoys teaching classical music to all ages, from 4 years to adults. Besides teaching, Joe is also the registration systems coordinator at MacPhail.
Outside of MacPhail, Joe can be seen and heard performing at numerous gigs at First Avenue playing with local and national touring acts. “Hearing the booming cello through First Avenue’s main room speakers makes one feel like an instant rock star – even when playing Bach!”
Joe received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.
