Ora Itkin

Piano

Ora Itkin has been teaching piano at MacPhail since 2014. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience on all levels.

Her artistic and pedagogical efforts are directed into provoking curiosity in every student, where the art of music is seen as a unifying force in all aspects of life. Music is a powerful tool in building one’s character and stimulating intellectual and emotional growth of an individual.

Ora is founder and artistic director of Muse Salon Series, and has participated in national and international recitals, chamber music performances, the Caribbean Festival of Humanities in Puerto Rico, the Goya Project with Schubert Club. She is the author and producer of several multimedia projects.

She holds a Bachelor’s of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from the Moscow Academy of Music in Russia, as well as a Bachelor’s of Music and Master’s of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from the Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem Universities, Rubin Academy of Music, Israel.
