String Instrument Lessons & Classes at MacPhail
MacPhail provides instruction in Violin, Viola, Cello, Harp, Double Bass, Fiddle, and Gayageum through individual lessons, group classes, ensembles, and orchestras.
Founded in 1907 as a violin school, MacPhail takes pride in our nationally recognized string programs. Instruction is available for all ages and all skill levels.

Lírios Quartet Residency
We welcome the Lírios Quartet as our 2023 Emerging Artist Quartet in Residence! Formed in 2022 at the University of Colorado Boulder, the Lírios Quartet comprises four emerging artists who have come together under the mentorship of the Takács Quartet.
